• Worked under Dr. Luong Nguyen to write a thesis paper on the Lunar In-Site Resource Utilization for the Space Robotic Challenge Program • Establish best practices and consolidation of file sharing across collaborative groups• Our research is being used to deliver software that can acquire data in real-time and demonstrate self-localization of a robotic system. This project is contributed to the autonomous capabilities of lunar surface robots for NASA Centennial Challenges and NASA Human Space Life Support.• Lead design in creating a formal report for our research - showcasing the entire engineering process from brainstorming to analysis of each subsystem to the evaluation of the final concept; Presented research to over 100 undergrad engineering students and professors at University of Houston - Clear Lake

• Deployed a virtual robot to operate fully autonomously in a virtual lunar environment with interim clearance from NASA JSC• Implemented LiDAR camera on rover to pinpoint chemical composition of rocks and soils, including molecular and atomic makeup; reducing time to scan environmental resources by 30%• Autonomously complete tasks envisioned for Lunar In-Site Resource Utilization missions, constructed Docker images within virtual environment• Conducted black-box testing through Gazebo and white-box testing through Trello• Integrated project management software to keep track and organize tasks using Trello Enterprise and Slack Technologies• Develop training materials and operational workflows for deployment on docker, created a readme file to get simulation running on Linux Ubuntu on team’s PC during the COVID19 Pandemic

• Worked under the supervision of Dr. Epling from the University of Houston Chemical Engineering department• Created a program in LabVIEW in order to automate the reactor flow controls, return voltage data, and record temperature reading to an excel file• Wrote a technical guide/manual demonstrating the process of how to recreate the program and hardware system for additional reactors.
