Principally responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of data integrity for the California Health Benefit Exchange. Engineered the infrastructure and process for reconciliation of all eligibility and enrollment information on the exchange. Established standards and best practices for data integrity through comprehensive internal and external data analytics. Designed a myriad of analytical business solutions, including dimensional permutation analysis, cohort and funnel analysis, and asynchronous frictional analysis. Serve as a subject matter expert for State Based Marketplace (SBM) enrollment system functionality, BSD/IDD development and review, database management, eligibility and enrollment policies, EDI/834/820 transactions, reconciliation, Federal reporting, and business processes that impact data integrity. Manage the creation, revision, and merging of medical records through Epic and Invision systems. Troubleshoot HL7 messages for interface errors, resolve Epic trouble tickets, and prepare documents for release of information in accordance with state and federal law. Primarily responsible for converting paper records into the patient’s EMR. Provide ongoing support of electronic medical record systems and related workflows in order to maintain HIMSS stage 7 standards. SQL and Crystal report writing to identify and improve operational efficiency. Develop and maintain working partnerships with hospital based departments. Assisted with a document bar coding system to automate the indexing of medical records; effectively reducing upload turnaround times to within 30 minutes. Manage curriculum development and implementation to satisfy all accrediting standards for the Allied Health programs: Medical Assisting, Laboratory Assisting / Phlebotomy, EKG Tech, and Optical Assisting. Manage all faculty development, training, and productivity to enhance student success. Facilitate certification exam preparation for both the national and state level. Identify academic related variables and continuously ensure the maximization of resources by means of program related projects and development. Manage program specific spending for procedural equipment and supplies. Primarily engineered evolving strategies to satisfy a multitude of accrediting, departmental, and environmental requirements.
