• Promote strategy for the achievement of corporate goals and objectives by serving as a member of the Steering Team, which consists of all company executives and directors• Develop, implement, and execute executive strategic vision on planning and budgets for capital and operating expenditures including an investment strategy purchasing 180 new construction equipment assets totaling $40 million which increased annual equipment revenue by 583%• Responsible for managing company assets, including entire company-owned equipment fleet increasing utilization by 20% while reducing costs by 5%• Ensure development and integration of internal and external supply chain relationships• Manage corporate and field procurement, equipment, and logistics groups, supply chain systems, programs, and processes • Assess operational performance, inventory management, cost competitiveness, and identify opportunities to increase profit and leverage cost savings• Analyze purchasing/procurement data from Microsoft Dynamics AX to leverage purchasing power company-wide• Research and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production, and distribution capabilities, transportation cost, and supplier's reputation and performance history• Manage shop raw material purchases, negotiate pricing, and terms/contracts with key suppliers and steel mill partners• Negotiate master service/rental agreements with vendors and 3rd party rental companies• Develop relationships in the industry to understand and stay well-informed of industry changes which may impact various business management programs as it relates to pricing trends and new products• Enhance supplier development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives, and actively soliciting formal feedback• Represent an ethical, professional, respectful, and courteous manner when interacting with co-workers, clients, and suppliers
