Assist in managing the Distribution operations of Lacrosse Footwear organization by leading and motivating DC employees in a fast-paced footwear and apparel fulfillment center, supervising the daily activities to ensure customer needs are processed timely and accurately.• Acts as a back up to the Director of Distribution when out of the building or off the floor.• Works with Director of Distribution for team and individual development including coaching, training, mentoring and possibly conduct performance reviews. Makes recommendations concerning promotions, transfers and new hires. Partners with Human Resources and Director of Distribution for all coaching and counseling issues.• Maintains training records and training manuals for employees, conducts training sessions to assist employees in their growth.• Maintains a safe work environment with compliance to OSHA.• Accountable for meeting all Safety, Quality, and Performance targets and metrics defined for the DC.• Maintains open communication with all associates stressing Core Values, Company Vision and Updates associated with DC and Overall Organizations, weekly meetings, Information Boards, etc. • Maintains daily workflow on the floor to achieve daily shipping goals by pairs and dollars.• Updates daily metrics; makes adjustments to staff levels when necessary to maintain shipping on time 24/48 hours.• Manages the order processing and sorting of pick tickets to distribute work to the employees. • Maintains daily/monthly required reporting information.• Oversees daily cycle counting and reporting. Performs research to reconcile inventory discrepancies.• Profiling of SKU activity. Reviews forecast reports monthly to determine most productive use of space, utilizing slotting techniques.

Oversee all pick ticket (orders) processing for the distribution center. Oversees the flow and documentation of all exports shipments. Performs analysis of freight costs and administer routings for consolidation of LTL (less than truck load) shipments. Oversees the auditing of freight bills along with managing distribution related documents for domestic shipments.• Reviews orders by order type to process (wave) orders through the warehouse providing timely shipment of product. Prepares orders for assignment to Distribution Associates.• Schedules all Inbound shipments and communicates any variances to PO with Supply Chain Team.• With the support of the VAS manager maintains compliance customer requirements by assuring that all requirements are being followed. Notifies the Distribution Manager of any problems prior to any shipments. Provides any follow up communication to ensure proper documentation.• Explains compliance terminology to Distribution Associates to ensure that they understand and can follow the customer’s request.• Documents any breach in procedures, policies or instructions to appropriate management person.• Follows-up with other staff and employees to make sure all special customer compliance issues are being adhered to.• Prepares all export documents for shipments as needed. Communicates with personnel in Customer Service and Distribution to insure that export shipments to customers are dispatched with the proper documents for brokers and customer clearance.• Facilitates between the Warehouse Personnel, Warehouse Managers and Supervisors and carriers to assist with smooth flow of shipments throughout each working day.• Communicates equipment needs to carriers.• Communicates and confirms any special loading requirements to Distribution Associates.• Prepares any special documents as required for each shipment (bills of lading, shipping labels and packing lists).• Performs audits of freight bills to insure proper billing has occurred.
