Led a 25-person team supporting training events for up to 450 students. Created a new unit designed to streamline procedures and reduce attrition throughout the organization. Developed organization and procedures for a partnered operational control center, overseeing operations in all of Garmsir District. Deployed 45 personnel to New Zealand, as the senior U.S. Marine representative for a multi-national exercise. Key Results:-Created the training continuum for the platoon counter insurgency operations in Afghanistan.-Developed and facilitated operational control of a multi-nation command center, ensuring communication and coordinated support to over (20) isolated positions across 200 square miles. -Planned and executed a deployment of a (45) person team from Hawaii to New Zealand for a multi-national exercise.-Identified as the top performing platoon commander in the Battalion and was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal.
