With over 20 years of experience in leading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Supplier Diversity, and Community Engagement initiatives, I am a certified DEI professional and an award-winning executive in my field. I have successfully created and headed the DEI programs for Fortune 500 companies and established measurable goals, strategies, and metrics to advance DEI across the organizations. As the first VP of DEI at Erie Insurance, I led the DEI program and collaborated with the executive council and cross-functional leaders to establish measurable goals and outcomes. I also lead the DEI taskforce team and the DEI field investment fund and presented the DEI business case to various stakeholders. During my tenure as Koppers first Director of Global Inclusion and Diversity, I led the company's first global inclusion and diversity program, and launched several impactful initiatives, such as the ALLONEPittsburgh Drive, the 'Bridging the Racial Divide' global town hall discussion, and Koppers Returning Home Project. While serving as a former director of supplier diversity at EQT Corporation, I also have extensive expertise in developing and managing supplier diversity programs, fostering strategic partnerships, and increasing supplier diversity spend. Under my leadership, EQT's annual Supplier Diversity spend grew from $73 million in 2012 to $1.2 billion in 2018 (1,544% increase). I was nationally awarded the 2019 Supplier Diversity Professional of the Year Award by the National Minority Supplier Development Council (world's largest diversity council) and I developed the only Supplier Diversity (SD) program in the Oil and Gas (O&G) industry and sole SD program headquartered in the Pittsburgh region to receive the preeminent 2018 NMSDC National Corporation of the Year Award in its revenue category.I am passionate about advancing DEI across the organizations and communities I serve, and I leverage my skills in manufacturing process improvement, new business development, and presentations to achieve this mission.
