Residential Dining AdministratorHousing & Food ServicesUniversity of Washington (2009 to Dec. 2020)• Provide vision, leadership, management and strategic direction for two residential dining locations that average 9,200 transactions per day. $12 Million dollars in annual sales• Accountable for the management of residential dining operations, managers and staff who are engaged in the direct preparation and serving of meals, to ensure quality product and outstanding customer service. • Serve as a member of the Food Services senior leadership team in identifying the vision and strategic initiatives for delivering and executing all services and programs for the department. • Identify, develop, implement and review policies and procedures for Food Services, ensuring that dining operations comply with them as well as other HFS polices. • Ensures that all residential dining facilities comply with quality standards for food safety and sanitation, and promotes a safe work environment through job training. • Establishes and maintains collaborative working relationships with key clients, University staff members, students and customers. • Initiates the development and implementation of new concepts and products; as well as the promotion of campus and HFS programmatic activities and events.• Communicates HFS goals and objectives to the food service management team• Understands, comprehends and effectively applies all contracts, policies and procedures applicable to the operation, including labor contracts. • Develops, monitors and implements business plans and budgets for the residential dining venues. Ensures budget expenditures are within budget analysis parameters. • Participates in planning for remodeling or new construction of food service venues, including the purchase and maintenance of equipment and furniture. • Designed two resident dining facilities, five mobile dining units, full-service restaurant and the District Market.
