  In my position I am responsible for maintenance of both building and all equipment, Primary Equipment I work onBeam saw, Cnc machines, Compressors I/R and AC, this includes all piping.Edgebander, Vacuum Pumps small up to 30 hp, liquid and rotary vein. Hp of motors range from 3hp to 50 hp mostly R & R on these. In our case It is usually the windings that have went out. I have done bearings in motors ranging from 2 hp, to 25 hp.AREAS OF EXPERTISE FOR MAINTAINING EQUIPMENTI am responsible for scheduling,logging, and preforming general periodic maintenance, advising and preforming needed preventive maintenance. These are Items that I have observed through listening,visual,and touch/feel. I take great care in the above items so as to keep down time and break downs to a minimum. When a machine does go down it is my job to trouble shoot the cause of the problem. Said breakdowns/malfunctions range from minor, to complicated/ Major. They often include electrical AC/DC high and low voltage, mechanical,pneumatic,sequential timing through sensors, switches and adjustments in PLC coordinates. VFD drive settings and adjustments. at times I have to distinguish if the malfunction is an operator error. I also am responsible for making the decision of when we should call an outside vendor in for repair, I have a very low occurrence for this. This is in great part to my own abilities as well as my ability to track with tech support. For the above items it is my responsibility to order all needed parts,as well it is my responsibility to keep a good stock of maintenance and expected repair parts on the shelf,ready to go if needed.
