I worked primarily as a buyer in this role, managing more than $52 Million in 2021 alone, across 30 vendors and 9 Real Estate Specialists. I was also instrumental in training internal and external users in Verizon's new Fuze PO Module for PO management. In addition, I became the go-to resource for my team in transitioning to the Google Business Suite (including Google Meet), Bluejeans video conferencing tool acquired by Verizon, and the Slack communication platform.I also collaborated to create an initiative for analyzing high rent sites for relocation, which prompted a new HQ program which borrowed many aspects of our model.

During my time with KGI Wireless I have worked exclusively on the Verizon Dark Fiber projects for Verizon. From January 2017 until May of 2019 I successfully completed over 230 projects in the Great Plains Region. In May of 2019 I joined a team responsible for Verizon's Houston/Gulf Coast project. Shortly thereafter this team assumed responsibility for the Great Plains projects as well. Responsibilities include:-Review existing lease documents to determine new fiber route and appropriate leasing actions.-Engage lessors to provide notice, obtain consent, secure new easements, and negotiate lease amendments as needed.-Collaborate with Verizon's specified design firm to depict proposed scope of work on formal construction drawings.-Consult local jurisdictions to identify and complete any permitting requirements for the proposed scope of work.-Follow Verizon's environmental due diligence procedures to identify and complete required activities.-Request and manage purchase orders from Verizon for services completed and coordinate invoicing internally.

Reviewed and confirmed inbound purchase orders from AT&T. Processed all outbound purchase orders between Black & Veatch and their contractors. Outbound purchase orders were routed through Quickbase and/or proprietary software once approved. Reviewed each outbound purchase order using best practices to ensure accuracy, within budgetary guidelines, included required supporting documentation, and covered by inbound purchase orders. Coordinated true-up at end of project across departments to ensure accuracy of scope of work.
