As a Software Engineering Manager I've led the engineering efforts to build PDQ Connect, our remote-friendly device management product. I've also lead our marketing websites development team.Some of my accomplishments over the past few years include:- Led engineering team as we've built PDQ Connect from an idea to over 7M ARR.- Performed technical evaluations during PDQ's acquisition of both SimpleMDM and SmartDeploy.- Helped direct reports grow in their careers and achieve promotions (including a principal engineer and multiple senior-level promotions)- Maintained very low turnover in the team.- I've been an important voice in the technical direction as we've grown the company from under 60 to about 200 employees.Technologies & Tools:- Elixir, Rust, React, Postgres, GCP- Linear, Notion, and Lucid- Opsgenie- Git (GitHub)

As an engineering lead my role was to both write software as well as lead and mentor other developers. I performed 1:1s with my team and help guide them in their own efforts and career path. I collaborate with other engineering leads and department leadership to define department culture and OKRs. I participated in initial efforts to investigate upcoming project ideas and define the tech future for the company.

I performed various refactors, implemented bug fixes, and added various minor features to PDQ Deploy and PDQ Inventory, the company's flagship products. I write software to integrate and automate internal as well as 3rd party systems. I engineer solutions to help streamline and improve productivity. My focus is to provide innovative, useful, and easy-to-use applications in order to provide my employer with a technical and operational advantage.

Writing C#, I helped create and maintain internal systems used to support Nutraceutical's manufacturing and shipping processes. Specifically, I helped maintain and enhance the company's shipping applications as well as the company's order processing application.

I help maintain and enhance existing software solutions written in both PHP and C#, including our site builder tool as well as our CRM/email tool. Additionally, I'm helping architect, design, and construct the new software system we'll be using for the Grow America competitions.

Programming in C# and ASP.NET, I helped create and maintain both our public-facing consumer portal, www.vehix.com, as well as our administrative portal and all tiers of the system. Helped create the inventory search architecture using Endeca search technologies, AJAX, and SEO best practices.

Helped create and maintain internal payroll and job tracking tools, written in C# and ASP.NET. Helped enhance and maintain windows mobile application written in C#.
