I’m not great at talking about myself and don’t like to hence why I’ve been a ghost on social media up to now 😂 and would much prefer to just do meaningful work outside of the public view. Unfortunately, the new company I’m building requires I leverage social media to reach my audience so that being said…Hello world 👋 I’m an indigenous kid who grew up on a reservation in Canada, Tsuu T’ina, for the first 20 years of life. I relocated to the US 21 years ago and I played golf at a world class level before an injury ended my career.After I retired from golf I went on to start 4 companies and am building a 5th. These companies range from health and wellness to real estate(where we built a 350 million portfolio this last cycle) to private equity and now finance. Ironically, it’s not in the things that I’ve succeeded at that makes me helpful to others but rather the epic failures I’ve had along the way. From losing a career I spent almost my entire life training for and having no back up plan, to losing 6 figures, 7 figures and 8 figures personally in business. The lessons have been painful and plentiful but without them I wouldn’t be uniquely prepared to build the company I am now working on. There is a generational shift happening in all First Nations and Tribes in North America with a skill gap closing and a new generation of indigenous leaders coming into their own. Couple this with Indian Country economically growing at an exponential level and a global awareness from smart money wanting to partake in that growth. We now have the makings for the most explosive growth in any market segment/ethnic group in North America for the remainder of this century and beyond.My life growing up on a reservation for 20 years to working with some of the largest investors in the world have armed me with a unique perspective and ability to connect both worlds.
