I managed two workshops supporting the New York City Cartier boutiques: one within the flagship boutique for faster, less complicated jobs and one off-site for larger jobs. The workforce consisted of five watchmakers, two engravers and one polisher.

Genève, Ch

I was tasked with creating and developing a sequential line for the New York workshop. I tested, hired and trained ten candidates, many with no previous watchmaking experience. As the team developed and was able to meet the company’s expectations for production and quality, I turned leadership of the team over to its senior member and concentrated on technical training for executives and non-technical personnel.

I joined Rolex USA as a sequential technician, and moved to a watchmaker position to learn the more obscure calibres of the brand. I became the in-house instructor in 2007. In this position I provided ongoing training to the staff, administered bench tests to prospective employees, provided technical training to new hires, and regularly addressed sales teams for the Company’s network of authorized jewelers.
