Director Of Distribution Operations
CurrentDirector of a 1.2 million sq. ft. warehouse with 5 manager direct reports, 18 indirect supervisor reports, and 460 indirect hourly reports. Responsible for inbound and outbound of 2 million cases per week. Responsible for the coordination, receipt, storage and transportation of goods to 140 retail stores to include fresh, frozen, perishable, dry, hbc, and cigarettes. Accountable for establishing strategies and growth for the business, customer service, people development and community service. Must maintain company objectives, business goals as well as responsibilities pertaining to cost, policies, and organizational ethics. Focus on strategic direction and execution and implementation as well as initiatives that are set within the company goals. Experience with profit and loss statements, managing budgetary line items and forecasting. Responsible for inventory and accuracy metrics for production environment. Responsible for businesses process and engineered standards within a production environment.
