• Redesigned Salesforce instance to better leverage the software’s existing functionality and meet the changing needs of the program. Tasks included redefining relationships between data objects, rebuilding Apex classes and triggers to be more efficient, and creating dashboards that get automatically emailed to users on a weekly basis.• Introduced the use of third-party applications in Salesforce to enhance its functionality. Examples include using a solution that merges Salesforce data with Microsoft Excel and Word templates, and another that scans documents into Salesforce and stores them in specific records using barcodes and OCR technology.• Set up the initial integration between Salesforce and SQL Server using DBAmp software, and scheduled a job to regularly replicate data.• Created stored procedures in SQL Server to calculate complex KPI report data using Salesforce data. Created interactive reports in SSRS that allows users to run KPIs by date, type, and region.• Oversaw monthly processing of payments, which involves running SQL queries for QA purposes to insure that all necessary data is captured accurately in Salesforce. Also included running a stored procedure that calculates earnings data in SQL Server and loads it into Salesforce.

• Collected and analyzed clients’ business requirements and designed database schema accordingly. Worked with Project Manager to create work plan.• Created Visualforce pages to customize user interfaces and assisted in building Apex triggers to automate system functionality. Examples include building an application that guided users through a series of questions to determine eligibility for a social program.• Set up user permission structure by creating profiles, role hierarchy, and sharing rules based on clients’ organizational structure and process. Migrated client data from legacy databases into Salesforce.• Worked as a junior developer on the WorkSmart iQ application, currently available on the Salesforce AppExchange. • Performed Salesforce system administration duties including adding new users, building custom reports and dashboards, performing mass data updates, and monitoring data quality. I created a Lotus Notes database for the International Human Resources department that allowed global HR professionals to capture and report on employee data. Worked with technology departments in Europe and Asia to deploy database on servers globally. I trained end users in-person and via teleconferencing on how to use the database and wrote user manual.I periodically implemented design changes to the database based on user feedback.I created an Access database to generate analytical reports for both upper management and HR professionals.
