We sell direct to customers and trade consumers and strive to merge curiosity with creativity, fashion, and expression. And our designs are modern meets eclectic inspiration, blending current and classic styles for livable, lovable furnishings. The end result is dynamic decor cut from a different kind of cloth. Fabrics are the key to bringing a room together We focus on items for the home that will add a pop of pattern and color to your home, whether it is a large rug, a group of pillows on your sofa, or new candlesticks for your dining table.Our Post House branded textiles, sold by the yard or as decorative pillows, and artwork serve as our marquee products. But we have more in store, too. We source home-decor from all over the world from colorful candles to hand-painted metal toleware. Come on in and take a look around.

- Designing and building the new user interface for JBM Shows, which will consist of five websites in the boat trade show industry. The project focuses on increasing attendance and sponsorships through a sleek, modern interface and enhanced online experience.- Managing the rebranding of SCP Collectibles and helping the organization to recognize opportunities and develop new products. Choosing effective brand name, strengthening the booth design for trade shows and expanding the brands online presence with the addition of an e-commerce store. - Conceptualized inventive approaches in the design of products for an adaptive clothing startup. Assisted in industry research and articulated ideas and perspectives to the founder. - Developed creative solutions for advertising, identity design and performed market research for an urban apparel startup. Created drafts of the logo and typography for the brand.- Assisted in the visual presentation and business plan drafting of a local, medical startup - Designed and developed a portfolio for a local, emerging interior designer, increasing the online presence and following of the firm.

During this intensive, three-month accelerator, I worked collaboratively with nine of the top digital health and wellness tech startups from around the country to creatively advance each startup’s brand and product. Daily activities included: - Brainstorming sessions with the startups to begin building out the creative building blocks for the products and brand. - Building wireframes, prototypes and mockups based on user and industry research. - Testing out applications and implementing enhancements to improve the design interface. - Designing print marketing materials for Iron Yard Ventures while upholding and adhering to the company’s brand standards.

As a UI/UX Designer for J&P Park, I worked with four national brands: Park Seed, Jackson and Perkins, Wayside Gardens and Van Dykes. My role allowed me to explore approaches to solving specific user problems on the web and enhancing the online consumer shopping experience. Through my position as a UI/UX Designer, I: - Created screen designs, wireframes and mockups - Ensured that the products logically flowed from one step to the next - Worked with the Senior UI/UX Designer and marketing team to incorporate the visual identity of the brands into our features - Ensured that the UI visually communicates with the experience - Maintain consistency in visual elements - Research who our users are and what they need in their online shopping experience - Create functional implementation of a products interface with CSS, HTML and basic JavaScript Projects I worked on included: - Overhauling the Jackson & Perkins mobile site with a consistent design and stronger user experience. The process included performing user research, designing wireframes and coding responsive layouts. As a result, mobile conversions greatly increased. - Mocking up interactive features for the brands, such as the Build Your Own Garden Container feature, which would allow users to design their own planters and purchase all the items. - Redesigning the checkout process for Van Dykes, from designing the wireframes to coding the actual product. - Creating responsive articles for Jackson and Perkins and Park Seed to enhance the content and promote particular products.

Following an internship from my Junior year at Presbyterian College, I later went on to become the Retail and Operations Manager for Linda McDougald Design l Postcard from Paris. Through my position as the retail and operations manager, I: - Collaborated with the corporate office to execute marketing and promotional opportunities through social media and in-store events - Oversaw and communicated the company’s brand daily on social media sites such as Houzz and The Nearby- Monitored onsite inventory to achieve ideal balance of top selling items - Worked with the Postcard from Paris Home e-commerce division to support the e-commerce initiatives, including procurement, customer support and fulfillment- Cultivated design opportunities for Linda McDougald Design and communicated those opportunities to the corporate office

As a part-time employee for this family owned business, I have helped to achieve exceptional sales and a strong presence for the company’s brand in the community, various artisan shows throughout the Southeast and for the retail store. After creating a social media account for the retail store, sales increased by 20% during the first month. This was done by delivering consistent and valuable content to our followers multiple times a week. During my time with the company, I have also created briefs on product and brand expansion.

My internship with Ania LLC, a small start-up located in Greenville, was done in part through Clemson University. The internship allowed me to gain an authentic look into the life of an entrepreneur and in start-up businesses. Along with being involved in the day to day operations of the business, I also assisted with researching the strategic direction of the company, monitoring onsite inventory and creating a clean and organized environment.

While enrolled at Presbyterian College, I worked in the Elizabeth Stone Harper Art Gallery as a Gallery Attendant. Through the position I administered the art gallery and assisted in the creation and distribution of promotional materials for the gallery. I also collaborated with others and facilitated with the setting up and removal of art exhibitions, where I consistently met deadlines.
