As the Sr. Business Development Executive for Regence BCBSO I led strategic territory development and key client relationship management. I held responsibility for increasing brand awareness and leveraging strategic partnerships to increase community investment. I consistently exceeded annual performance metrics and was recognized as a top performer in our 4 State footprint. My responsibility included review and allocation of the annual community giving/investment budgets for Josephine, Jackson and Klamath Counties.

An opportunity presented itself to sell my agency to United Risk Solutions and manage a book of business for an agent who would be transitioning to retirement in 3-5 years. As a Benefits Consultant for United Risk Solutions I was the primary contact for key clientele and held oversight of Account Manager and Account Coordinator positions. I led sales through consultative client partnerships including plan cost and carrier performance audits, short/long term cost containment strategies, service plan agreements.

My early years at Regence gave me a strong foundation in health insurance. I decided to apply my experience and transition to the Broker side of the business. I developed and managed book of business with 4.6 million annualized premiums and 95% retention. I consistently created new sales annually from all lines of business including Group Health & Life, Disability, Individual and Ancillary lines coverage and built a successful small business.
