As an adjunct professor at six colleges and universities, I have the opportunity to share my passion for philosophy and education with diverse and eager students. I have a PhD (ABD) and an EdD in philosophy and educational leadership, as well as two master's degrees in philosophy and religion, and a bachelor's degree in animal science. I have been teaching philosophy for over five years, and I have taught courses in ethics, logic, critical thinking, world religions, and introduction and history of philosophy. I have a strong background in both the classical and the contemporary branches of philosophy, and I enjoy exploring the connections between philosophy and other disciplines, such as science, and religion. My core competencies include curriculum development, instructional design, classroom and online teaching, student engagement, assessment, and feedback. My mission is to inspire my students to think critically, creatively, and ethically, and to foster a lifelong love of learning and inquiry.
