Core responsibilities include managing and supervising the security operations of the GE Manufacturing Solutions Plant in North Fort Worth, Texas. I manage 13 security officers, who secure the perimeter and restrict access to unauthorized personnel. Create weekly schedules for all officers and work with our Dallas office to ensure all training/certifications for each officer are up to date. I assist the GE Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Leader with GE Corporate Security directed initiatives and day-to-day security operations for 1 year as an interim Security Leader while they (GE) sought to fill an open Security Leader position. I successfully negotiated contracts with security vendors as the acting Security Leader with full authority of the EHS Leader and GE management team. Coordinate with contractors/vendors working for GE to ensure their employees are properly trained on the safety standards within the plant as they worked, and ensured compliance through on-the-spot corrective training.

Self contracted to Fellowship of the Parks church in Haslet, Texas. Assisted staff members with the management of sub-contractors. Planning, developing, and remodeling the property in order to expedite the completion date.

Responsibilities included running a dive team of three to four people and ensuring the safety of each team member during diving operations across the state of Texas. Negotiated on-site sales of additional services to client as needed. As a diver I would dive into potable water tanks in order to inspect the water tanks to ensure compliance with Texas Commission of Environmental Quality (TCEQ) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations. As a team we would clean the inside of the tanks of corrosion, calcium, and sediment. My team was also responsible for making repairs the structure of the tank when necessary.

Responsible for 8 soldiers and 4 Infantry Carrier Vehicles deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. While deployed I planned and executed over 200 combat missions without taking any loss of friendly lives or vehicles, and during these missions successfully captured high value terrorist targets, while maintaining control of over 100 million dollars of government equipment. As a Squad Leader I conducted Human Resources related issues; training, counseling, and corrective actions. Conducted a weekly safety briefing to all soldiers in the unit. Planned and provided daily training in garrison to troops preparing to deploy, and training during deployment to both American and foreign soldiers in preparation of upcoming missions.
