My history of sales, business development, and customer service experience in a variety of fields over 25 years, including founding and developing a successful small business which I was able to sell for a profit after 7 successful years, has proven effective in making me successful in my career. I have worked through ERP and EDI software implementations, assisting in troubleshooting and resolving issues. Today I am a sales and marketing management professional focused on driving increased sales working with independent sales agencies to penetrate new markets, increase sales with the current dealer base by providing tools and training for our sales force. I have a proven track record of successfully helping regional sales reps reach into new markets outside of their comfort zone through training and assistance in the field. I have been successful due to my deep understanding of the consumer through research, field experience, and personal love for the outdoor lifestyle and sports. It has always been my lifelong dream to work in the outdoor industry, and I am humbled to have the opportunity to do what I love for my career. My relationship building skills have allowed me to develop great relationships with sales representatives, retailers and other industry professionals alike and is part of the reason for my success. I have technical product knowledge and enjoy learning and talking about technical details of products. I’m driven by challenges and a love for what I do. I have increased my role in sports marketing over the last 5 years of my career, and I enjoy having this as part of my responsibility. Involving marketing planning and strategies is a natural part of my work in sales management. My personal interests include; spending time with my family, mountain biking, snowboarding, backcountry snowboarding, mountaineering, rock climbing, hiking, kiteboarding and generally just being in the outdoors.
