I served as Executive Pastor helping in the areas of preaching and teaching, spiritual formation and connection groups. I also led the design team for the updating of our foyeur and office areas. I helped in community outreach through preaching monthly at a retirement community, leading "702" (a monthly outreach event to young adults) and working with.

Ours and four other familes set out to plant a "coffee house" church in the community of La Mesa. We met first in our home and perfected the art of Garage Church. We wanted to create a "come as you are" experiance that felt as little like traditional church as possible. We chose to sit in groups rather than rows, we dressed as we pleased, and we welcomed.

I have been involved in some or another form of ministry since I was in high school, and helping out with Campus Life. I am passionate about small groups, and I consider myself to be a perpetual student and teacher of the Bible. My experiences include serving as an interim preacher at Mountain View Church in Ramona, attending Southern California Seminary.

I attended this church for many years and served on the Board of Deacons, and Board of Elders. I served as Interim Preacher for the rock service for 9 months when we were without a pastor.
