Working to gain an education in finance, biology, chemistry, and all of the skills necessary to one day open a dental practice.The Reason for the 6 Years taken to complete my university studies is a 2 year mission that I served for my church in Japan(2007-2009). I am committed to completing my college education in the 4 years required, and plan to graduate this July, 2012.

Worked on a project where we were trying to identify what the metabolic mechanisms were inside the mink uterus. Mink are able to have a fertilized egg survive in their uterus without embedding into the uterine wall for 30 days, and humans can only do this for 5. We were wondering, first, how? Then second, could this be applicable in humans? My part in this was to test different RNA primers to see if they would work with mink RNA. To do this we had to isolate RNA from the tissue, and then we ran the RNA through a real time PCR machine. If the primer worked, we would send it on to another group for the next phase of testing. I also was able to train a group of 3 others on the use of the PCR machine, and other laboratory techniques.

I worked as a TA for a class titled Business Statistics and Law. This class the Harvard Business School statistics tutorials for newly matriculating MBA students. I helped students with questions on their statistics presentations, which covered topics from basic excel skills, to creating advanced forecasting models. I also graded all of the papers and presentations for this class.

Worked as a Dental Assistant. Performed functions such as dental prophylaxis, putting in sealants, sterilizing instruments, and office organization.

I kept the office financial records. I prepared tax documents for private contractors. Created a visual map illustrating the hierarchy of the many LLC's operated by NexGen. Proofread many legal documents concerning the purchase of land and mineral rights. I also read over previous business deals and was tutored in why they were or were not good deals by the CFO.
