A few project highlights during my time at eWorld:- State of Hawaii Department of Human Services: HANA/BES Integration- State of Hawaii Department of Transportation Harbors Division: PHIMS Modernization

I was brought onto the team at CASS (contractors for ODOT) as a Student Analyst once my internship at ODOT finished. I am going to continue my work and efforts to complete the TOCS HomeScreen Modernization Project that I was assigned to in the summer of 2022 at ODOT, which is estimated to be completed by the end of this academic year (Spring 2023), as I graduate from Oregon State University.

Through this paid internship, I have learned what it means to be a system analyst and understand the process of enhancing a software according to the customer’s preference. I mainly worked on the TOCS Home Screen Modernization Project, which entailed using Azure DevOps to write specifications for certain functions of the software, publish them, then write and execute test cases. ODOT benefitted from my work by having an extra hand completing a long list of enhancements and the exact functionality of them. They also benefited from having a smoother log in method for all 3rd party platforms on their TLE website. I am extremely grateful for the continued work and employment offered to me by CASS (Center for Applied Systems and Software) at Oregon State University, as a result of working for ODOT. CASS was another contractor on the TOCS Home Screen Modernization project, and I was able to network with their team leaders, and land myself another job working for my university after my internship at ODOT is completed.Main projects I worked on at ODOT:1. The nature of work for Frank V. Coluccio Construction as a Laborer included experiencewith power tools and assisting in labor tasks for different project sites around the island. Throughout thisprocess, I acquired my own Powered Industrial Truck Safety Training License and was able to operatelarger machinery in the construction yard. This machinery included forklifts of all different sizes,excavators, and a variety of trucks.

The nature of work for the Punahou School Health Center as a Front Desk StudentWorker included signing in patients and maintaining the waiting room, driving a golf cart to pick up anddrop off patients, stocking inventory, faxes, and other filing.

The nature of work for Town and Country Surf Designs as a Sales Associate includedproviding customers with assistance, maintaining visuals of merchandise, and providing my ownadditional knowledge regarding information on surf brands and other products. I was also the top sellerfor a period, averaging $257.51 in sales per hour.
