Steward Energy II, LLC (SE2) is the second iteration of the incredibly successful Steward Energy story. SE2 has once again partnered with Natural Gas Partners and a small but committed group of private investors to create value thru creative oil and gas development. Our current focus is the Permian Basin, where we are the recognized leader in the emerging horizontal San Andres play.Though the name is slightly different, our commitment to responsible use and development of all talents and resources entrusted to us is steadfast. The cornerstone of stewardship will always be the foundation upon which Steward is built.

Steward Energy, LLC ("SE1") was a private equity portfolio company of Natural Gas Partners. SE1 successfully built a coveted acreage position in the highly competitive Wolfbone/Wolfcamp play of the Southern Delaware Basin in Reeves county, TX. The 10,000 acre position was built via grassroots leasing, PDP acquisitions, and creative deal-making. As founder and leader of SE1, I was intimately involved in all aspects of business including investor relations, business development, lease acquisition, engineering, and field operations. My number one responsibility was to make certain that the company lives up to it's name by exercising wise stewardship with regards to ALL talents & resources entrusted to us.SE1 successfully drilled, completed, produced, and evaluated an area of the field that was frontier and undeveloped prior to our entry. Our successful efforts led to the late 2014 sale of the position to an undisclosed buyer.

As one of only two engineers at a small but active oil & gas company, I was involved in all aspects of the oil & gas business. While my title was Operations Engineer and I focused on Completions and Production Engineering, I was also heavily involved in Reservoir Engineering, Facility Engineering, Geology, Land, Legal, Regulatory, & Accounting. This "jack of all trades" approach allowed me to quickly learn what all is involved in managing a private E&P organization.I was responsible for operated and non operated properties in (MS, LA, TX, NM, OK, CO, WY, & MT) with the majority of my time spent in MS, North LA/East TX (Haynesville Play) & West TX (Delaware Basin Wolfbone development). Our completion work in West TX was the key which ultimately commercialized the Wolfbone play, and led to a $340MM asset sale in late 2011.

Responsible for drilling, completions, and production operations in mature water flood fields of Mississippi. The crowning acheivement at Denbury was the design, implementation, and installation of one of the company's largest CO2 flood projects, and the only one that was completed on time and under budget.

Responsible for operating over 1000 ultra low pressure gas wells in SW Kansas

Production Engineer for newly acquired retrograde condensate field in SW Wyoming/Utah area.

Responsible for production and completion operations in Central Texas Chalk trend including high rate slick water fracture stimulations

Production Engineer in SW Kansas including ultra low pressure gas wells, and mature water floods.
