Mr. Lance Tossell, Licensed Nursing Home Administrator - Petersen Health Care, LLCLance Tossell is currently the Administrator at El Paso Health Care Center, which is a 123 bed skilled nursing facility located in El Paso, Illinois specializing in mental and behavioral health. He joined Petersen Health Care in 2010 as the Assistant Administrator of Royal Oaks Care Center in Kewanee, Illinois to fulfill an internship requirement for his B.S. in Health Administration from the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign. Lance has successfully managed 3 of the Petersen Health Care facilities in Central Illinois which are Royal Oaks Care Center in Kewanee, Fondulac Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in East Peoria and now currently El Paso Health Care Center. Lance was awarded the prestigious "Facility of the Year" award presented by Mark Petersen (President) at the 2012 Annual Awards Banquet, along with 10 other awards.Prior to joining Petersen Health Care, he accumulated nearly 4 years of front-line warehouse distribution experience working for Wal-Mart Distribution 6092 located in SpringValley, IL. Mr. Tossell was a graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana/Champaign 2010 with a goal of one day pursuing a career as a family physician in a rural community. His desires for business eventually lead him away from Medicine to pursue a career in Business. His current duties as an Administrator include but not limited to; to operate the facility in compliance with all Federal and State rules and regulations, establishing a budget and managing it, supervise all department directors, maintain a solid Quality Assurance Program, maintain good public relations with the community, payroll, safety programs, employee discipline, marketing, census development and much more.
