Communicate performance expectations, delegate assignments, provide opportunity for cross training and the development of skills and counsel on performance problems.• Manage contracts (50+) and contractors engaged in Site Services support including various Facilities projects, GC, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, conveyances, gates/doors, seismic installations, gas accounts, ev charging, fire extinguishers/safety showers/eye wash, Covid decontamination, janitorial, landscaping, linen, refreshment deliveries, café, catering, print/copy, shuttle, switchboard, mailroom, conferencing, office signage, office moves, offsite storage, non-hazardous waste, UPS, FedEx, Staples, and managed print services. • Administer Facilities Services budget including planning, monitoring, forecasting, approving invoices, and accruals for equipment, supplies and services utilized within the department.• Track site project development milestones using MS-Project, communicate timelines to team. • Facilitate Space Planning activities, track changes in OfficeSpace. • Write and enforce department operating procedures to ensure that all safety, regulatory and legal requirements are adhered to.

Responsible for conducting all North American GDS IH inbound Planning/Buying activities from multiple European production facilities (Instruments, Reagents, Spare Parts) as well as USDA / FDA / Customs clearance.  Facilitates persistent contact with BCN regarding production lead times, multiple batch quantities, FDA clearance and scrap mitigation. Escalates delays as needed. Partners with Customer Service/Warehouse team to ensure inbound product becomes outbound product with maximum efficiency. Continuous Carrier Analysis: Successfully replaced inbound Medion RBC freight carrier with DSV, culminating in RBC’s arriving to UPSL 3-4 days earlier on average while minimizing risk of future exposure to freezing inflight conditions. Actively facilitates S&OP meetings with key cross-functional interactions (Executive Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Technical Service, Customer Service) Ensures products are available to support Sales forecast as well as established customer service levels. Actively communicates to all stakeholders (upstream/downstream) when supply issues arise. Engages SME’s to expedite production activities, when necessary, to maintain delivery schedules and in stock conditions. Provides support and analysis to Production groups for project management, shut down schedules and incremental orders with the objective of maintaining supply continuity. Partners with Cost Accounting to ensure reserves are booked correctly. Acts as SME and represents SCM on key development projects, new product launches and clinical trials. Manages relationship with key third parties that include review of KPI’s and continuous improvement opportunities. Provides guidance and general leadership / development to junior associates.
