CurrentManaging a range of construction projects ranging from £50K to £2 million using a specialist in house team of engineers and trade operatives, with three projects successfully delivered since March. The role has involved recruiting and developing my team, training in relevant statutory qualifications, cost management by and procurement. Parallel to this role i still remain the Universitys deputy appointed person for Asbestos management and continue to arrange our surveys and removals where required to ensure our compliance and the wellbeing of staff, students and users.

Client side contract manager for the Measured Term Contract.-Represent the University's interests to contracting parties-Establish relationships with key stakeholders and contracting parties and to act as point of contact for all communications relating to the contract.-Carryout quality assurance inspections to works during and post completion-Instigate RAG system for Health and Safety checks on site to help ensure this element of KPI's is monitored in a quantifiable way-Manage cost assessments so that best value/quality is achieved.-Develop and introduce works tracker to enable future strategic planning for larger project works-Budget responsibility for long-term maintenance items such as roofs, roads and pathways.As deputy appointed person for the Management of asbestos i have been instrumental in reviewing the Asbestos management plan and managing the asbestos register.
