CPIC P07. New Finance SystemProject Description: P07, one of the three core application systems
of CPIC ITSP (IT Strategic Planning) designed by IBM, has a budget around 154 million RMB. The system adopted Oracle 11i Finance Package including GL, AP, FA, OIE, ABM and OFSA; along with some customization on many other modules like Reinsurance, Reserve, Budget, Tax, etc.
Contribution: 1) Design project scope, business framework and draft RFP.
2) Evaluate the proposals from major consulting firms including IBM, Bearingpoint, Accenture, etc.
3) Monitor the daily operation of project management office. Responsible for the management of contractors, project standard and project flow. Responsible for the communication among project team, consultants and subcontractors.
4) Responsible for the customization solution and implementation strategy.
5) Conduct end user training and knowledge transfer to ensure that CPIC could maintain and upgrade the system independently.
