A three-time CISO he has led large complex board reportable technology risk management programs. Lance also served as the CISO for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and National Reconnaissance Office. Some of Lance’s awards include the NRO Distinguished Service Medal; National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Citation; and CIO Collaboration Award. Lance’s career started in the US Air Force where he faithfully served for 20 years before becoming an honorably discharged US veteran. He still holds a Top Secret government clearance from the Department of Defense.
