Nashville, Tennessee, area resident Lance Gardiner has served primary care group Physician Partners as its Financial Director and Administrator since 2000. In his seven years with Springfield Medical Center, he contributed to a number of notable achievements, including a 20 percent reduction in operations expenses. He also assisted in the hospital’s reorganization and transformation from a facility specializing in internal medicine to a primary care medical center, and he instituted changes in financial procedures that included a system for revenue cycle accountability. In his current position at Physician Partners, Lance Gardiner manages the day-to-day operations of company facilities, which encompasses a range of duties, such as preparing financial reports and compliance paperwork, negotiating supply agreements, and appointing new physicians.
