Oversaw the marketing and public relations team at Amply Media, as well as the in-house content development studio that created over 100 pieces of daily content for a network of 110+ million subscribers who visited our over 40 various web properties.In 2020, Inc. Magazine revealed that Amply Media was 59th on their Inc. 5000 list of fastest growing companies in the nation, while also claiming the number four spot for all media companies in the United States. Additionally, Amply Media was recognized as the fastest growing business in Kansas City on Ingram’s Fastest-Growing Company list in July of 2020. Ingram’s officially recognized the region’s fastest-growing companies in its 35th annual Corporate Report 100 competition. Amply Media was acquired by Sonobi, a consumer facing technology company in Winter Park Florida, on October 25th, 2021.

Founding member of ReachMobi’s executive team, tasked with building the entirety of the marketing department from the ground up, including the complete rebranding the company itself. Responsible for all aspects of marketing including the development and implementation of multiple lead generation stratagems across multiple sales teams by managing a team of designers, web-masters, and communications specialists, including overseas contractors, to fulfill the wide-reaching marketing needs of the company.

Formed in 2006, AbsoluteWave, LLC was my personal consulting firm that developed unique marketing solutions for companies of all sizes. Provided valuable consulting around branding / digital marketing, public relations, social media, eCommerce, enhanced by in-house creative/development capabilities. AbsoluteWave fulfilled over 100 separate contracts over a five-year period, including ongoing work for Fox Interactive Media where I was engaged to increase the revenue potential of their high-profile web destinations such as: americanidol.com and foxsports.com. Also did extensive work for other clients such as: The Gospel Music Channel, Adknowledge, LaGarde, Atom Films and Demand Media just to name a few.

Was hired to rebrand LaGarde and its eCommerce product line in order to help facilitate the eventual sale of the company in late 2009. Was responsible for a complete rebranding of the company and products, as well as brand development and brand strategy while increasing the profile of the company within the eCommerce industry as a whole.

Was one of nine founding members of the eUniverse / Intermix network. (The parent company of myspace.com) Saw the company go from a tiny start-up, to being sold to Fox for $580 million in 2005. Provided the creative direction vital to the growth of myspace.com from a startup to over 75 million monthly unique visitors, making it the 6th largest destination site on the internet. Was responsible for identifying trends in web culture and development opportunities and then creating an ecosystem of websites, content, and services that were unique in the internet industry.

Created video production department from the ground up for American Media Group, an advertising agency that wished to bring its video production “in house.” Oversaw the entire creative process from beginning to end. Managed a team of 17 through four direct reports (Editing, Production, Copywriting, and Creative / Pre-production) Managed the construction of a video production facility including: multi-cameral production studio, editing suite, voice over studio, sound stage and graphics station, before hiring a full staff of production personnel to fulfill all duties in creating various commercial and corporate programming.
