Initiated joint events with industry partners to promote CMHC research.Effectively presented complex sustainability and affordability issues to diverse audiences, ranging from 500 key clients at large conferences to 10 municipal staff at small multi-day technical workshops.Coordinated and delivered a series of 40+ municipal sustainability workshops across BC, working directly with municipal and regional governments.Served as CMHC representative for promoting a demonstration home, resulting in over 30,000 visitors.

Produced reports on core housing need, immigration, and accessibility that were used extensively by all three layers of government.Initiated and managed Part IX Research projects, from the RFP to editing the final report. Examples include the final report submitted by the Government of Canada to the UN for the World Urban Forum report. Wrote the sustainable housing section for the first edition of CMHC’s flagship publication, The Canadian Housing Observer.

Monitored the performance of new mortgage loan insurance products. Identified and resolved technical issues with lenders and specific mortgage loan insurance applications.

Tracked trends in new residential construction and the housing resale market in Eastern Ontario.Wrote and produced reports, press releases, and responses to requests and media, expanding the suite of products to include Kingston.Launched the first CMHC Housing Outlook Conferences in Ottawa and Kingston.Maintained the profile of the CMHC in the local community and developed relationships with home builder, appraiser, and lender organizations, and initiated a monthly CMHC article in New Homes Magazine.
