Key accomplishments include:• Created a system for performing root cause failure analysis, capturing and communicating findings and identifying projects designed to prevent future repeat failures.• Developed reliability strategies for key WWTP assets which saved hundreds of thousands of dollars annually, reduced exposure, improved process availability and increased run time between failures. • Mitigated risks associated with safety, health and cost by optimizing and prioritizing planning, scheduling, and maintenance resources.• Provided design and startup support for a first of its kind water reuse system that consists of multimedia filters, ultra filtration, reverse osmosis and demineralizers that convert waste water into boiler feed water.
Provided daily process health monitoring, communicated and troubleshot issues as they arose and optimized operation of the waste water treatment plant, boiler house, cooling towers and wells. Key accomplishments include:• Provided scope and process support for turnarounds to ensure safety, cost effectiveness, timeliness and to minimize negative impacts. • Identified and justified capital upgrades needed to improve process health and manage risk. • Collaborated with the operations group to create and revise procedures to ensure process limitations and key technical concerns are addressed and communicated. • Managed risk by developing alarms to maintain process conditions within acceptable operating ranges to protect employees and equipment which led to longer run times between failures.• Provided process support contributing to the longest run without major waste water treatment plant upsets.
