Worked as an operations and engineering support technician at an industrial gas production facility. Plant was responsible for supplying 24/7 high flows of Nitrogen, Hydrogen, and Clean Dry Air (CDA). Had a hand in all manner of operations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades, in both industrial equipment and computer software.• Managed and significantly improved equipment maintenance through Maximo (IBM's maintenancemanagement software). Created a number of improvements to speed up work-order entry I. Created process to add barcodes to printed work-orders II. Automated parsing of equipment hierarchy to display in Freeplane, an intuitive mindmap structure III. Built SQL queries for KPIs highlighting overdue repairs, employee productivity, etc.• Improved many SOPs for operating on-site equipment, including: cooling glycol loop startup, liquid hydrogen offload, steam methane reformer (SMR) startup, CDA compressor shutdown, CDA dryer switching, etc.• Assisted in SMR plant commissioning. Wrote a utility to auto-restart critical plant-monitoring software II. Wrote program to manage and create on-call shifts for all employees III.
