Principal Architect is a National role, responsibilities include:• Architect / oversee the design, development and lead the delivery of sophisticated, high performance web based applications using SharePoint (On Premises / Cloud / Hybrid) Microsoft technologies.• Evangelise the architectural vision, strategy, and principles to internal staff, customers, industry analysts, and throughout peer groups.• Mentor and develop other consultants in Infrastructure technical areas.• Ensure that documentation for best practice standards is constantly being written, improved and consistently utilised.• Involved in presales with both technical and non-technical stakeholders including estimation, proposal and tender writing as well as managing the customer delivery experience.• Maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging developments and trends in technology that could impact current projects and influence new projects.• Participate in external standards organizations and industry groups that could enhance Empired’s reputation as well as provide vital information on technology trends and best practices.

Responsibilities: • Design and implementation of SharePoint 2007 solutions including workflow, content management, and document management and information architecture design.• Managing projects end to end using Agile methodologies, from the scoping process and gathering requirements with the client through to delivery, deployment and support.• Demonstrate the ability to forge compromises between business and technical constraints.• Demonstrate an understanding of the business context of technical work and speak in business language to ensure the customer understands

Responsibilities: • Consultant to several Government corporate clients responsible for providing technology planning and advising on Microsoft products strategic direction.• Technical Lead on major projects.• Design, implementation and support of Microsoft products for both corporate and Government clients at an enterprise level.
