Celebrating 90 years of Ancestral Mining, Lance is a 4th Generational Leader in Gold Mining operations.

•Led the organization to work in 30 states, Canada and Australia with speaking, musical and mentoring engagements throughout its eight-year existence thus far. •Initiated and developed a Youth Group program that started with 3 youth and built to 25 consistent with 65+ at special events through building relationships, mentoring, creating and sustaining weekly/monthly events and meetings. •Booked and promoted engagements around the country, utilized and created social networks, raised funds, and initiated a monthly newsletter.

My time at Emeritus/Brookdale was a great experience with many responsibilities and successes through multiple challenges at this 140-bed Assisted Living Community. In addition to the regular roles of an Executive Director in a community of this size with 60+ employees, and hundreds of family members some of the challenges include:1.) The first job of uniting and growing the relationship between department heads and to take ownership of each individual department. 2.) Successfully orchestrated the mighty merger of our community form Emeritus to Brookdale that began just after a month of starting this position and ended a year later.3.) Organized an open house party for the greater community to celebrate the name change from Emeritus to Brookdale, involving residents, family members, local chamber members, mayor, fire department, collaborative professionals in our community and more. 4.) Managed through the process of getting a New Roof on our community and dealing with residents of a leaking ceiling, our regional and local maintenance team, community neighbors and contractors. 5.) Effectively dealt with a resident room fire, the Napa earthquake in fall of 2014 and a resident room flooding that effected multiple levels. 6.) Effectively lead the team through these and more challenges to grow the census from 80% to 93% occupancy as well as cutting expenses, reaching the goals to receive my mid-year bonus. Continues to hold RCFE Administrator Certificate.

1. Lead the branding efforts of organization; Branding messaging for organization as a whole as well as various locations2. Lead the development of collateral materials3. Lead the website development as well as internet and social media functions of the company4. Lead all advertising/sponsorship efforts for organization, including a. Ad campaign concept development, design and implementation; b. Alzheimer’s Association of Northern Cal (Sac & Bay Area); Alzheimer’s Aide Society of Northern Cal; Artz for Alzheimer’s; American Cancer Society/Relay for Life, etc.; c. Maintain budgets and calendars 5. Develop and maintain organizational policies and procedures for Marketing/Sales, helping organization understand key differences between Marketing and Sales functions 6. Lead organization in maintaining useful data tracking, including oversight of “Leads” software program implementation, and subsequent data analysis7. Participate with executive team in general oversight of organization.

•Oversee all facility operations: quality of care, team building, payroll, marketing, facility development (RCFE Certificate Exp. 7/2014) •Took the community from a monthly loss to a positive cash flow and increased census. Doubling the revenue of the community in 2 years and turning around the Lodi community’s perception of the Assisted Living Facility.
