I get jazzed about developing people and processes. . .in that order. Two years as a Six Sigma Black Belt taught me that despite having a stellar process improvement plan, without the overt support of the people touching that process, you’re dead in the water. Funny thing is that in my experience leadership is typically more comfortable developing processes than people. And for good reason, as processes are linear and people can be messy. And I love working with people to create operational discipline and accountability. In a nutshell I’ve dedicated the last decade of my life to helping companies innovate and align their people strategy with their business strategy (B2B, B2B2C, DTC, & e-commerce channels). Call me a “people focused” COO if you will.I spent 13 years at Eli Lilly working with and learning from some of the best minds in this space (leadership development, organizational design, human resource expertise, etc.) and the last 8 years applying these principles within multiple companies with diverse leadership styles. I love opportunities that require collaboration and the synthesis of diverse inputs. They bring out my superpower: creating order and action out of complexity and chaos.With a deep-seated passion for executive development and a Six Sigma Black Belt, my tenure at LifeSeasons and GEMS Development Foundation has been marked by a commitment to aligning people strategies with business goals.
