Fort Knox is the second single largest employer in Kentucky, providing a $4.8 Billion economic impact to the region, with over $1 Billion in annual payroll.➣ Delivered leadership and vision to directorates and integrated functional auxiliaries of Kentucky’s 14th largest city and the 19th largest US Army installation worldwide. Led 2,500+ personnel and provided services to 120,000+ residents. ➣ Managed a budget of over $170MM, collected over $42MM in reimbursable expenses, and oversaw the start of $40MM+ in new construction for Fiscal Year 2022 while managing an $800MM contract portfolio. Competed for and was awarded over $3MM in capital purchase/minor construction grants.➣ Command included Directorates of Public Works, Human Resources, Resource Management, Emergency Services, Parks and Recreation, Airfield Operations, Planning, and Equal Employment Opportunity.➣ Conducted Internal Reviews, Community Relations, Public Affairs, Strategic Planning, Safety, Religious Community, Legal Support, and delivery of Child and Youth Care Services. ➣ Served as Lead Integrator for 9 General Officer commands and 15 Mission Partners with worldwide missions and a central role in recruiting, training, and sustaining the Warfighter. ➣ Developed and maintained local, state, and federal relationships to advocate for and further the Fort Knox mission. Coordinated numerous onsite visits to ensure civilian leaders remained informed of issues relevant to Fort Knox.➣ Accountable for sustainment and investment in over 5,000 facilities, energy and water utility infrastructure, transportation, and communication infrastructure.➣ Recipient of the 2021 Secretary of the Army Energy Award and the 2021 Army Partnership Award, with Fort Knox being the first Department of Defense energy-independent installation, allowing for nearly $8MM in cost avoidance annually. ➣ Awarded over $1.5MM in Energy Resilience grants from the Department of Energy in 2023.
