About Lance R. Curtis

I am an educator-in-training aspiring to inspire the next generation of engineers. I'm always improving my course materials because I believe teaching the same class I taught before means I'm failing my students who aren't receiving a maximized learning opportunity, my employer who isn't receiving good value for having hired me, and myself who've I've denied the chance to learn, grow, and become something more. And every time I have served as a teaching assistant, I have always worked with the instructor of record to improve their classes in some way.I am also a mechanical and materials engineer with skills in metallurgical and mechanical failure analysis, product reliability modeling, and process improvement. In all my various roles, I've never failed to deliver good work on time and always consistently delivered quality products and services to my customers. I enjoy helping people and improving processes and always open to considering new opportunities. Let me know what I can do for you!
