With a combined turnover in excess of £300m a year the Seddon Group offered construction services, home building, planned/reactive maintenance services, plant equipment manufacture, plant sales and automotive sales.I was responsible for developing and maintaining core business applications to aid business processes. Using ASP/vb.net, SQL and SharePoint I have designed, developed and delivered applications that; manage contractual repairs, track orders, manage recruitment, handle requests for information, and the sale of products. Some of my other responsibilities included:- Developing normalized databases, maintaining existing databases and reporting. - Deploying applications over IIS and Apache, configuration of hosting an application pools.- Maintenance and reporting for MS SQL and MS Dynamics.- SharePoint 2010 development, maintenance and end user training.- Maintaining group websites (Apache and IIS) and further developing functionality.
