Being a first-generation college graduate shaped his early career as a lobbyist and led him to Teach For America where he worked as an educator, recruiter, executive director, and various VP roles in talent acquisition, and external affairs. He then worked in talent acquisition and global talent intelligence at Amazon, before launching TalentWorks Consulting where he assembles teams to drive tangible and transformational work for clients.Outside of work:You'll likely find Lance camping, traveling abroad and experiencing various cultures. He is passionate about educational equity, intersections of social justice (anti-racism, prison reform, the LGBTQ+ community, and access to healthcare, and civic engagement).
