Casting ForemanTechnicast Foundry Feb 1980 - Jun 1985I joined Technicast as a lose pattern molder and worked my way through the different sections of the Foundry. I was promoted to Furnaceman and in 1984 was promoted to Casting Floor Foreman in charge of the furnace, moulding and the casting floor. Technicast at the time was the only Foundry in New Zealand approved to do casting work for the NZ armed forces.
