Landmarvel Commercial SpacesLand Marvel Nov 2007 - PresentChennai Area, IndiaThe 3D team of Land Marvel Animation was divided into modeling, texturing, rigging,Lighting, Rendering and Compositing.This team worked on the ‘crow models’ – which could fly when animated and the resolution of the model was high.Even minute features about the anatomical and morphological features of the crow were discussed in detail. The texturing team of Land Marvel, captured the crow’s textures with their cameras, and came out with around 75 shades of black. The lighting team had to study in real-time, the crows feather’s reactions to different kind of light.Then they had to simulate the feather on the digitized crow’s body. After the crow’s animation was complete, the researched data was used to grow feathers on the crow body – in a very natural way. The Land Marvel Animation Team did a lot of research work on the crows and taking pictures. Some of the team members even developed stiff necks due to the constant stretching of their neck upwards to spot them. The chromakey team had a tough time matching the shots with the background. One shot which took a lot of time was the helicopter shot on a building and the crows flying over – showing that tsunami was coming.

This also led to more interest from the Hollywood VFX Stalwarts and Supervisors eventually seeking opportunities to work with Land Marvel Animation Studio.On to the 3D Animated Feature, Land Marvel Chairman interviewed more than twenty Top of the line Professionals from Hollywood in the categories of Producer, Art Director, Technical Director, Character Designers, Background Artists, Storyboard Artists, Casting Director, Voice Talents, Song lyricist, Music Composer, Sound Designer and Sound Pre & Post Production Houses. We have now finally narrowed down to six of them for Employment at Land Marvel Animation Studio for the project.X-MAS FILES is currently under Pre-Production with Ace Talents from Hollywood and around the World with Comprehensive & strict Quality Supervision at our Studio.Land Marvel Animation studio’s visual effects work for dasavatharam receives appreciation. The amount of special effects involved in Kamal Hassan’s Dasavatharam was enormous and never before has such magnitude of visual effects been attempted in any Indian film ever. Land Marvel Animation Studio worked for 78 shots for dasavatharam.Each shot were complex and challenging. The VFX,3D and compositing team of Land Marvel Animation Studio were involved in the work. The Director K S Ravi Kumar and Visual Effect Supervisor appreciated Land Marvel’s quality work.

Landmarvel Completed ServicesLand Marvel Constructions May 2001 - PresentChennai Area, IndiaDasavatharam was the First Indian movie to shoot in a large scale Water set. (Cover 5 acres of Land). To simulate a Tsunami sequence in the movie a 5 acre land of Land Marvel at the Dolphin resort, was filled with water which resembled the back waters of a sea and sets were built amidst water as they are about to be washed away by huge waves created by the U.S. Team. A team of Head of Departments, Professors, Academic and Historians of IIT- Madras, Madras University, Tanjore university, Archaeological Survey of India and Department of Culture, Government of Tamilnadu have come forward to collaborate in the movie, giving their ideas, opinions, feed backs, research materials and advice for the authenticity of the script.
