What started as a side job turned official, in October 2005. I was still a full time student at Western Connecticut State University, and I was offered several contracts by a local real estate firm. I took on the contracts and never looked back, until now as I write this... I started with basic residential and commercial property maintenance for the first several years and started to work towards larger jobs while growing my business. This includes tree removal and pruning, fence installation, lawn installation, invasive brush removal, drainage, and a multitude of other jobs. Eventually, Nathan's Tree and Landscape LLC grew to several employees, about half a million in assets, and is still thriving today.

After an initial hiring as a Barista, I was promoted to the Shift Supervisor Position after 6 months of employment. After our store manager was fired, I and another shift supervisor took over as acting managers. We successfully operated the store, scheduled work shifts, managed payroll, and operated all in store activities for about 6 months. After this time, I applied for an assistant manager position and was ultimately turned down for the position citing "not enough experience". I took the opportunity to leave on good terms, and very soon afterwards I started Nathan's Tree and Landscape LLC.
