We’ve partnered with Painaustralia to build an app for people experiencing chronic pain. After watching my husband deal with chronic back pain for over 10 years, I had to put my exercise physiology background and digital health experience to work. I've recruited my allied health and developer friends to work on this and together we’ve spent early mornings, late nights and weekends to bring this to life. My husband has been pain free for 18 months and we've put everything we've learned into an app to make it accessible. We want to help 2 million people break up with their pain. Thank you to the consumer advocacy group at painaustralia and the clinical group who also gave us guidance and feedback.We're currently building version two. As a player, I competed in the NSW Waratah cup. My last state representative team was the NSW u/21s in 2004 and I finished my netball career as captain of the waratah cup team in 2010. My highest individual achievement was the Nance Kenny medal for state league player of the year in 2008. As a coach for two years during this period, I helped a talented side achieve two grand final appearances with one premiership. As a club member, I was assistant treasurer and Vice President.
