My name is Landen Ramirez and I am an 18 year old Climate Activist, Political figure, Organizer, and Founder of Youth Climate Strike LA and Extinction Rebellion Youth LA. Despite my age, I have years of experience organizing, planning, directing, and leading events, rallies, and protests. I work with the mayor of LA Eric Garcetti on the Mayors Youth Council on Climate Action where I have worked to develop and pass bills. I have worked with Greta Thunberg, Isra Hirsi, and many more in organizing Climate Strikes. I Have not only organized many events, but I have been the leader of them. I have spoken in front of tens of thousands of people at the events I organize conveying the severity of this Climate Crisis by using my voice to inspire the youth. Over the past few years, I have gained notoriety in activist and political communities for my work in being one of the leaders in the climate movement in LA. I have been featured in an international documentary about the Climate Strikes, The LA Times, El Salvo Newspaper, the Sierra Club social media, and much more. From this I have learned much about public speaking, organizing, and directing large groups of people. As I am the Co-Founder of Youth Climate Strike LA and the Founder of Extinction Rebellion Youth LA, I have plenty of experience in all that is required when it comes to organizing and leading organizations.
