Landen is a hardworking and determined individual that is Currently studying Community Leadership with a specialization in Extension Education at the Ohio State University. His passion for the agriculture industry started in the ag room in his eighth grade year of middle school. With experiences from his FFA Chapter his love for helping students and the community began to grow along with his passion for agriculture. These experiences helped Landen in deciding on a degree to study at OSU. Teamwork, time management, and being eager to learn new things are just some qualities possessed by Landen. With every work and leadership position that he has been a part of he has never been known to shy away from a challenge. He is known for his great attitude and willingness to learn new things to make himself useful in any situation. One of Landen’s biggest strengths is to think fast on his feet in various situations. Also, at the conclusion of taking the Clifton Strengths finder test Landen was awarded being futuristic, ideation, communication, adaptability, and restorative as Landens five biggest strengths.Landens has been heavily involved in the FFA Organization prior to starting his time at OSU. The FFA organization has taught him many different life skills that will benefit Landen in all aspects of his life. In the FFA Landen has participated on numerous team based or individual projects, leadership roles, several public speaking roles, sales and marketing teams, and many different interview/presentation situations at both state and national levels.Landen is ready to invest himself in opportunities that offer different insights into areas of the agricultural industry to better himself as an agriculture advocate and future informal educator.
