Under MHPI, Balfour Beatty Communities is responsible for the planning, design, development, construction/renovation, operation and management of military housing projects for the Department of Defense.• Worked on two separate projects; Fort Bliss/White Sands Missile Range and Fort Carson. The scope of the Fort Bliss/White Sands Missile Range project included the demolition of 1,298 homes, renovation of 1,501 homes, historical preservation/rehabilitation of 208 homes, the master planning, development, and new construction of 1,631 homes, and the new construction of 3 community centers totaling over $498M for these improvements. The scope of the Fort Carson project included the new construction of 308 units totaling over $94M. • As the Development Manager, acted as the Owner's representative under Design/Bid/Build and Design/Build project delivery methods and ensured compliance of all legal documents by overseeing the entire real estate development process. • Major tasks for these projects included managing the acquisition, programming, planning, design, demolition, renovation, historical preservation/rehabilitation, and construction of the housing, neighborhood amenities, and community support facilities. -
