Oh Linkedin, how I wish it were so easy to fill in theses boxes. My life/career path is as chaotic as it is diverse and most certainly eccentric. After travelling to 75+ countries, worked as a bike messenger, Ethiopian restaurant manager, legal assistant, professional cookie maker, labor organizer and many diverse others...I have settled into a (relatively) ordinary life split between Sweden and Indonesia. Along the way my passion for the seas and conservation found me starting a Dive shop in Thailand, then in Indonesia. The lack of community support or training lead to the formation of a non-profit foundation - Wicked Good - that creates sustainable employment opportunities in these remote locations. Which then lead to the founding of an overland adventure company that combines ethical operations with a passion for sharing amazing locations and experiences. Now Wicked Adventures, with a more ambitious plan, hopes to change how visitors choose their operators and tours. Wicked Adventures is currently headquartered in Bali Indonesia, from where many of our trips begin or end. These expeditions range from Orangutan rehabilitation centers to Hammerhead shark diving. In all cases we work with local stakeholders to create as much positive impact on the communities we visit. Most recently I have undertaken a personal quest to set up and operate the first Turtle Conservation Center in the vast Savu Sea Marine Protected Area. Built around education, job creation and responsible stewardship of the local resources. Creating a Yayasan (Indonesian Non-profit) to oversee and guide this, we envision a multi-year undertaking.I plan on continuing the adventure for years to come.
