Federico Landini is an italian self-made graphic designer focused on branding and type design.Among the international well known artworks, he created a brand new font using Microsoft Excel ’97 and a bespoke Didone typeface dedicated to his father Fabrizio.From a single monogram logo to the whole alphabet as full customised font for branding project, Federico's work is based on a continue research about the letter shape, investigating on how to use typography to depict values and emotions.Thanks to an unique creative process and a rigorous attention to details, he delivers lettering and typefaces with a strong relation between their semantic meaning and iconic design.He was selected as official speaker in the main line up of festivals and design conventions like: OFFF Festival (Barcellona 2011), Get Set Festival (Porto 2011 e 2012), Creativity Day (Milano e Roma, 2013 e 2014), ING (Dubai 2016) and he has created and published fonts for sellers like: YouWorkForThem, HypeForType and Myfonts.His work has recently received the “Certificate of Typographic Excellence” by Type Directors Club NY and has been featured by the most important publishers and websites about graphic design: Gestalten, Viction:ary, Index Book, IdN Magazine, Behance, WorkingNotWorking.SKILLS:Strong experience in corporate identity design, advanced use of layout design for print and new media.Highly proficient in vector graphics techniques for illustration and strong competence in colour management for digital and printing procedures.Specialized in use of typography, typographic design and the design of letters, from a monogram to a whole alphabet.
