Starting out since middle school I’ve always had a desire to create, which made things all the better when I had a chance at a vocational school during my junior and senior years of high school. Vinita high school gave me a chance for a two year education at Northeast Tech in Afton, where I studied under the field of Graphic Design. Thanks to my instructor there I learned about the basics of design and the whole Adobe Suite, I even got ahead so that I could spend months in Illustrator working on art project after art project. With my instructor encouraging me, I got to explore the depths of the Adobe programs and even picked up many skills that I still use somewhat to this day, some of which include: vinyl sticker creation, 3D modeling, 3D printing, and animation. During my second year there I ended up competing in a BPA (Business Professionals of America) competition to design the branding of the next years event, and while I didn’t win, the experience I got through the process of competing was extremely useful. When I finished tech school, I looked forward toward fine tuning my skills and learning how best to apply them. This lead me to OSUIT, a nearby college known for its courses and internship opportunities. There I learned how best to utilize my skills and hone them through the advise of my instructors. While I already had the basics down at this point, learning from a variety of instructors with different views was invaluable. During my second year at college I meet my fiancé, a cyber security student who already had almost a decade of experience in her field. After getting an apartment together and now 6 pets, 1 dog and 5 cats, life has been interesting.
